Welcome to « La Bouère Salée »
« La Bouère Salée » is a typical 19th century character house of the Loire Valley. It’s situated in a shaded park ( 6000 m²) and it’s an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet atmosphere. The rooms have been fitted and decorated so as to retain the charm of a family house. We will be happy to tell you about our so pleasant country and to give you all the information and brochures you need. « La Bouère Salée » is located a few minutes’ drive from the old city of Saumur and the Train Station is a short walk away. You will discover historical tuffeau houses and monuments, wine and mushroom cellars, the amazing and typical troglodytic dwellings and the remarkable Châteaux de la Loire of course! The « Loire à vélo » trail passes through the region; so, if you want to enjoy the countryside and cycle along the Royal River, you can rent bikes… (We have shelters for them) Shopping in the centre of Saumur or in the nearby supermarket. Many nice restaurants all around!
